There are WAY too many affiliate marketers out there who are referring products to others that they have never used. Remember, affiliate marketing can be a BIG business. You want to treat it as such. Anytime that you’re referring products to your audience there’s a chance to build trust or to break trust. Keep that in mind when referring products and remember to be selective.
Here are a 3 effective tips for beginners in affiliate marketing:
- Do mini value videos: Not comfortable doing videos? 3-5 minutes is a perfect amount of time to start. Anytime you are showing your audience how to use a product, tool or service that they already need, it’s a win-win. A win for them because now they know how to efficiently use it and where they can purchase it. A win for you because you increase your chances to earn an affiliate sale.
- Brand Yourself: the best name you will ever promote is your own. Companies will pass, affiliate opportunities may come and go but one name that will remain is your own. Take the time to brand yourself and build your reputation. Remember, people will act on your affiliate offers solely based on who you are and what you stand for.
- Remember your calls to action: Don’t forget to let your audience know what they need to do to purchase your offer. Don’t expect them to know. Let them know where to click and what to do.
