Taking the Leap: How I Ditched My Instagram Account and Started Fresh
At the beginning of this year, I decided to ditch my Instagram account with almost 10K followers and start fresh. This decision was prompted by a few different factors.
Firstly, I had an attachment to the account and wanted to prove something to myself and the community, but it was not indicative of how many people I was actually impacting or how many sales I was actually getting. I had to check myself and really understand why I was making this account so important to me.
I also realized that I had to trust myself to get things done in my own time, and I was able to do so when I had the energy and the time to do so. I released some of the negative belief systems I was carrying, as well as the old Instagram account. This helped me feel extra light in my life and I was able to create an experience that I wanted in my life and business.
I now believe that I can be more available to the community and engage more on the new Instagram account. I can give back to the community and enjoy the experience, rather than feeling heavy from it.
If there is something in your life that you feel like you need to release, something that you need to let go of, or something that you need to start fresh with, it may be time to take the leap. Trust yourself and give yourself the space to make the changes in your life and business that you need to make.
