Journaling and Affirming Yourself

You may not believe in yourself, but writing positive things about yourself changes your beliefs. The more you affirm yourself, write in your journal and think positive thoughts, the more you’ll actually begin to believe these things about yourself.

Mirror Work

Look into the mirror straight into your eyes and say, “I love you”. Give yourself the biggest pep talk because every time you pass a mirror and the more you talk to yourself, the better you will feel. Your actions will follow if you feel good about yourself.

People Really Don’t Care as Much as We Think We Do

One of the main reasons why we don’t have confidence or self-esteem is that we are afraid of what others think of us. Don’t worry about what others think of you because they aren’t thinking of you as often as you may imagine. Everyone is dealing with their own problems and is more concerned with what’s happening to them.

So there you have it, a few simple steps to boost your confidence and self-esteem. The key is to remember that confidence is something that can be built upon, one step at a time.
