Sell Now or Sell Yourself Short

Too many of us have gifts, talents, products, and ideas that we are giving away for completely free.
Sometimes, we are unable to see them because we ignore their existence. The first step in utilizing your talents for something greater is knowing what you’re good at.
Then ask yourself: “How Could I Be Monetizing These Ideas?


Is this You?

1. You’re constantly helping others for free and feeling undervalued.

2. You know you need to act on your idea and monetize but you won’t make a move.

3. You’re unsure if people will want your product or service.

There was a time when I first started my coaching business… I nearly quit within the first 30 days.

I had a Facebook group I was babysitting for nearly a year and giving them pure value. I also had my very first coaching clients who I undercharged and this left me feeling drained. It wasn’t until I recognized my value, closed and re-opened a new group and trained my audience to buy right from the beginning lthat my journey with coaching turned around.

Here are 5 Tips for Selling NOW to prevent selling yourself short:

1. Remember, we teach people how to treat us by how we treat ourselves.
Ask yourself: How am I teaching others to treat me? What are my actions telling others about me?
*At one point, I was known as the girl that you could get free info and help from. I had to set some hard boundaries to change that and you may have to do the same.

2. Learn to kindly say, “NO” and redirect people just like you’re redirecting traffic.
In other words, be more strategic in how you “help people”.

3. Let’s talk more about positioning your “free help” strategically.
Help! But also help yourself first.
I know this sounds selfish, but it’s crucial.
Remember: We teach people how to treat us by how we treat ourselves.
Ways to strategically position your freebies:
Be sure they are given in exchange for an opportunity for you to be heard or seen more such as capture pages, invitations to your chatbot or email list in exchange for this free information.
*Ask your potential clients and customers to take an action. Send them to wherever you want them to go to get the freebies.

4. Some of you are overcomplicating or overlooking what you should offer.
Is that you?
Keep in mind that what you do most naturally is your gift. Some of you have been doing this since childhood. But yet, you’re reaching outside of your gift to get paid and wondering why you aren’t successful.

5. How do you think the companies that we use in our homes and lives every single day are as successful as they are?
How do you think they went viral?
They sold their butt off every single opportunity they got!
Just remember they were once someone with a dream just like you. They sat across a kitchen table and shared ideas with people who called them insane! Look at where they are now and think about where you could be if you take action now.
